Aide Jebb

29 Sheffield

The main driving force behind Climblox, Aide would like to think of himself as a bit of an all rounder. Loving all disciplines of the sport, going with the seasons and getting to the mountains as often as possible.

At home on the grit, his love of new routing has found him some fine additions over the last ten years; Charlie Don’t Surf E8 6c at Hawkcliffe. The unfortunately named Shipman’s Surgery E7 6b at Thorn Crag, and the 2008 gap filler Evil Gazebo E6 7a at Apparent North, Stanage. Not adverse to starting at the bottom Aide's also flashed a few E7's and red pointed the odd 8a+.

Aide was part of a strong British team which free climbed the Ujarak in southern Greenland in 2003. Waiting for the Sun 850m E7 6C was one of the expedition’s resulting free route.

Not the strongest fingers in the Climblox team, but as designer Aide feels that you should know where the passion and inspiration behind the company comes from.
