Aide Jebb

I got my first point and shoot camera when I was really young. I can still remember the ritual of taking the films to the shop in Shipley and waiting weeks to get them back, only for the blurred, over-exposed reality of my creations to be staring back at me from behind a quality control sticker.
But I always had eyes for my dad's OM4. Fortunately I wasn't allowed near it (for the camera's sake). The big break came when I got given my first SLR when I was about 14. A Fuji thing my granddad gave me. I started climbing around the same time. Armed with a new avenue to record, I really got stuck into both. Now, 15 years later, I've not looked back.
The toys have got bigger and better, but the blurred over-exposed images remain.
